The State Property Fund and Naftogaz will jointly restore the damaged facilities of CENTRENERGO
Vitaliy Koval, Chairman of the State Property Fund, together with Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of Naftogaz of Ukraine, jointly assessed the extent of the damage caused to one of the CENTRENERGO facilities by the russian occupiers.
"This is a partnership visit. When you realize that there are statesmen and friends who support our restoration work. After all, without gas, there will be no electricity,” the Head of Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine emphasized.
Restoring CENTRENERGO’s capacities is a common challenge for the Ukrainian government and energy companies that requires immediate decisive action. As the autumn-winter period approaches, the issue of uninterrupted electricity supply to Ukrainians is a priority for the state.
"Energy workers working today at CENTRENERGO are people who definitely believe in Ukraine's victory. Our task is to help them as much as possible,” said the Chairman of the Fund.
For reference.The government has allocated UAH 1.5 billion for the reconstruction of war-damaged facilities. The funds will come from the reserve fund of the state budget and the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, which is replenished as a result of the sale of sanctioned assets.
