Fund presents opportunities for investors in Ukraine at the Luxembourg-Ukraine Business Forum

Oksana Osmachko, Deputy Chair of the Fund, participated in the second Luxembourg-Ukraine Business Forum "Rapid Recovery of Ukraine". The event was organized by the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce. At six venues in Luxembourg, 40 speakers from various international institutions, as well as representatives from several Ukrainian ministries, businessmen, and city mayors, gave presentations.

The forum aims to create an international platform for discussions on Ukraine's recovery and explore potential partnerships between businesses and governments of Luxembourg, Ukraine, and Europe. Building on the success of the first forum, which included Fund representatives, this year's event is even more influential, addressing key issues and opportunities for economic growth and development.

The main discussion topics included:

  • Ukraine's accession to the EU (prospects and opportunities);
  • Financing economic recovery;
  • Green economic recovery (key economic sectors);
  • Space innovations;
  • Social recovery;
  • Realities of doing business in Ukraine.

During the event, participants received information about the Fund's main activities, including privatization, leasing, evaluation of state property, the "Land Bank" project, and work with sanctioned assets.

Additionally, there were discussions about the placement of new logistics centers in industrial parks created on the basis of abandoned industrial zones (brownfields). These are promising industrial areas available for privatization.

For reference: The forum is a platform for meetings between representatives of the governments of Ukraine and Luxembourg, European institutions, Luxembourg's business community (industry and finance), international financial institutions, and investors. Their goal is to jointly explore innovative strategies and initiatives that will help accelerate Ukraine's economic recovery and ensure sustainable growth.
