In the near future the Fund will move to practical work on the implementation of the new privatization law

“Already in the end of April - in early May, the Fund will be able to move to practical work on the implementation of the new privatization law. The law, which everyone was waiting for, came into force, and now the Fund is working out the whole normative base”, - said the Head of the State Property Fund Vitalii Trubarov on his Facebook page.

The Head of the Fund clarified that this year changes will be made to the list of objects that are prohibited for privatization, changes are also being prepared in the lease and valuation sphere, for which the Fund is responsible.

“Issues that depend on the Fund can not be delayed,” he said, “but unfortunately, not everything depends on us.”

“The ministries and departments within 14 days after the entry into force of the new law had to formulate and transfer to the State Property Fund a list of objects for privatization. They had to do but did not do, as already for three years, 130 enterprises were not transferred for privatization in accordance with the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 271.
