RO in Kirovohrad Region came in on realization of the All-Ukrainian week of law

From December 10 to December 14, 2018, Regional Office in the Kirovohrad Region came in on realization of the All-Ukrainian Week of Law.

On December 10, 2018, a meeting on the issues of the implementation and protection of human rights with a view to raising the general level of legal culture and acquiring the necessary level of legal knowledge was held with the participation of representatives of institutions and organizations.

Taking into account the importance of legal education in the development of Ukraine as a rule of law, education of citizens respect for the law and human rights of employees, the following documents were discussed in the RO: ‘The Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ dated December 10, 1948; The Convention ‘On the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms’ dated November 4, 1950; The International Covenant ‘On Civil and Political Rights’ dated December 16, 1966; The International Covenant ‘On Economic, Social and Cultural Rights’ dated December 16, 1966; International Convention ‘On the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination’ dated January 4, 1969.

Also, at the meeting, the Chief of RO provided clarification on changes in the current Ukrainian legislation on privatization of state and communal property, which were adopted recently.
