Head of the State Property Fund Vitalii Trubarov: I do not want to allow enterprises to be liquidated instead of privatization

"I have very much concern about the fate of enterprises, the privatization of which is delayed by their governing bodies. If they are not transferred to the Fund for sale, they are likely to replenish the list of 1225 enterprises that have been lost for the state forever, that is, they will be liquidated. I would not really like that, "Vitalii Trubarov, the Head of the State Property Fund, said in an interview on Channel 5.

"I understand that the process of transferring objects from the governing bodies to the SPFU is quite difficult, it is necessary to carry out a number of procedures, prepare a lot of documents, but we are ready to communicate with the ministries and departments in order to solve problems together and to move the transfer process from place ", - he said.

Vitalii Trubarov mentioned that out of a hundred enterprises that are subject to the transfer of the Fund under the government's privatization resolution No. 271, less than 10 were transferred.

"The number of transferred objects will also depend on the implementation of the plan for the receipt of funds from privatization in 2018. After all, the draft budget provides for 22 billion UAH "- he stressed.

«But on the question if the privatization process should continue or not the next year» I strongly say: «To be!» Today, all the branches of power are united on this issue and are set to large privatization, and 2018 should become the key to privatization. And the new privatization law will make conditions for participation in Ukrainian privatization understandable and accessible to investors, "- said Vitalii Trubarov.
