SPFU assisted the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the Prosecutor General’s Office in conducting a special operation to stop the supply of titanium raw materials for the military-industrial complex of the rf
State Property Fund of Ukraine assisted the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office in conducting a special operation to stop the supply of titanium raw materials for the production of russian military equipment.
Before the full-scale invasion, Mykhailo Shelkov, a Russian oligarch and shareholder of the VSMPO – Avisma Titanium Corporation, supplied raw materials for the production of high-quality titanium from the Demurino Mining and Processing Plant, Dnipropetrovska oblast, under his control. In the future, this titanium was used to produce, for example, Kalibr missiles, with which the rf strikes Ukraine.
However, in February 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated Demurino MPP into the state ownership of Ukraine based on materials from law enforcementagencies, after which the Government transferred it under the SPFU control.
The SBU investigated under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office and in cooperation with the State Property Fund, the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, ARMA, and the State Customs Service.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine continues collaboration with SSU and Prosecutor General’s Office in the frame of this case.
