The State Property Fund invites you to participate in a round table discussion on the topic of corporate governance transformation

On August 17, 2023, at 10:00, the State Property Fund will host a round table discussion on the topic: "TRANSFORMATION OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE SYSTEMS."

Discussion topics will include:

  1. General principles of corporate governance by economic entities:

• Specifics of managing enterprises with over 50% of shares (stakes) owned by the state.

• Issues related to the formation and functioning of supervisory boards.

• Management innovations in the sphere of state administration.

• International experiences in effective corporate governance.

• Modernization of economic and civil legislation.

 

  1. Formation of state corporate governance policy:

• Impact of global trends on state corporate governance.

• Role of state-owned companies in ensuring sustainable economic development.

• Transparency and accountability in state-owned companies.

• Role of the investment climate in the development of the public sector.

• Institutional changes and state corporate governance.

• Role of civil society in controlling state corporate governance.

 

  1. Sovereign Fund. State industrial holdings and corporations:

• Organization of sovereign funds, foreign experience, and Ukrainian visions.

• Formation of state industrial holdings and corporations.

• Improvement of legislation and procedures for the effective functioning of the Sovereign Fund.

• Involvement of researchers and civil society in shaping the vision of the Sovereign Fund.

 

Participation is possible either in-person at the State Property Fund of Ukraine located at 18/9 General Almazov Street, 3rd floor, Room 303, Kyiv, or online via the Zoom platform.

The proceedings of the round table are planned to be published as a collection of materials.
