Since the beginning of 2023, the lease of state property has brought more than 218 million hryvnias to the state budget
Since the beginning of 2023, the lease of state property has brought 218.4 million (UAH) to the state budget, almost 30% of the planned for the year.
Odesa region and the city of Kyiv generated the most revenues - 87.0 million (UAH) and 31.7 million (UAH), respectively. Other top 5 are Dnipropetrovsk region (24.4 million UAH), Lviv region (15.1 million UAH) and Cherkasy region (14.4 million UAH).
The Fund is working to increase lease payments. To this end, the Fund initiated the extension of lease terms to five years. The draft law is already in the Parliament. Currently, lease agreements are signed for the period of martial law + 12 months after its elimination.
The State Property Fund expects that the extension of lease terms will increase competition at sales. Leasing property for five years will allow entrepreneurs to implement more ambitious projects, as it is much easier to start a business and recoup investments in such a period than in 12 months.
The Fund plans to hold 35 more lease auctions by the end of April. All announced lease auctions are available in the ProZorro.Sale system. You can learn more on the website orenda.gov.ua.
