Okhtyrka was one of the first cities attacked by russian army on 24 February. As a result, Okhtyrka Flour Mill did not work until April 13, 2022.
However, because of the need of local bakeries for rye flour, industrial complex restored its functioning.
Okhtyrka Flour Mill makes money from different services. First, the industrial complex dries and stores the wheat, rye, corn and sunflower seeds of local farmers. Secondly, mill process rye into flour for bread factories in Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava and even Dnipropetrovsk regions.
At the same time, Okhtyrka Flour Mill continues restoration works. Windows, doors, asphalted railway crossing and electronic scales were repaired.
