In order to attract investment, we are working on unblocking large privatization – results of the Government’s meeting
On March 25, 2023, the Chairman of the State Property Fund Rustem Umerov told the Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko about the first results and prospects of privatization and management of state assets in 2023.
Rustem Umerov noted that as part of the merger of state-owned enterprises under one governing body, together with the Ministry of Economy and the Cabinet of Ministers, we have already consolidated more than 65% of all state assets in the SPFU.
In addition, the following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- Unblocking large privatization in 2023.
- Restructuring and optimization of the SPFU.
- Сonfiscated/seized/sanitation/sanction assets management strategy.
- Liquidation of unprofitable enterprises.
- 5. List of strategic assets that are not planned to be privatized and that will be managed by the Fund.
