How to initiate privatization auctions during martial law – sample letter

The resumption of privatization under convenient and accelerated procedures opens up new opportunities for business recovery and development in safe regions.

But for holding auctions during martial law, the initiative of entrepreneurs is necessary. They are the ones who initiate the bidding if the object is ready for privatization, certifying the existence of demand for specific assets.

Potential buyers, including those who need to relocate production facilities from the territories where hostilities are being conducted or are threatened, should send a letter in any form to the privatization authority (the State Property Fund or its regional offices).

In the specified letter it is necessary to indicate:

the name of the regional office of the State Property Fund, to which the specified object belongs;

title/name of a potential buyer;

YeDRPOUcode (for legal entities) or series and passport number (for individuals);

the name of the state-owned object that is intended to privatize;

in case of possible relocation – location address of privatization initiator’s production facilities.
