More than 200 rental auctions will take place in early 2022

According to the State Property Fund of Ukraine, in the period from January 26 to February 23, 2022 it is planned to hold 204 auctions for the lease of state assets.

This was stated by the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko in his post.

“Lease of state real estate is interesting for those entrepreneurs who do not have significant financial resources to purchase real estate at the start of their own business. The website orenda.gov.ua already has information and photos on 6,700 such objects, and 204 online auctions for rent are planned for the next month,” Dmytro Sennychenko said.

According to him, a significant advantage of the lease from the state is also the predominant absence of restrictions on the intended use of leased facilities. Therefore, the business can decide for itself what activities it will carry out on the basis of such real estate.

Also, an important advantage is the significant time for which state assets are offered for lease. Today, by the law, it is 5 years with the right to extend the contract for another 5 years without an auction, if it was concluded for the first time through an auction.

“Thanks to the long-term lease, the business can plan its activities in a strategic perspective. In total, the planning horizon for state-leased facilities is 10 years, ” Dmytro Sennychenko explained.

To make it easier for potential tenants to search for vacant state property, the State Property Fund has created a lease marketplace - orenda.gov.ua.  

The whole database of real estate is visualized in the form of an interactive map of Ukraine on the site for convenience. It currently displays information on more than 6,700 objects of lease.
