Introducing the principles of transparent privatization helps to restore investor confidence in Ukraine - Dmytro Sennychenko
Dmytro Sennychenko, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, spoke about the comprehensive reforms that bring Ukraine closer to the European Union during a panel discussion at the Ukraine Reforms Conference in Vilnius (Lithuania).
He noted that the reforms carried out by the State Property Fund are part of Ukraine’s important efforts in the framework of the movement towards the European Union.
“We are implementing comprehensive reforms in the areas of corporate governance and privatization which are unanimously supported by our international partners to this end. The introduction of transparent instruments and comprehensive support for potential investors restores market confidence in the process of attracting investment and the Ukrainian state as a whole,” said Dmytro Sennychenko.
According to the Chairman of the State Property Fund, Ukraine has all the prerequisites for economic development through comprehensive reforms, which have the full support of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada and the Government.
“Ukraine has rich natural resources, a strategically advantageous geographical location and a partnership with the European Union. So, we have to work in order to Ukrainians get the most out of it,” said Dmytro Sennychenko, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
