An auction for the lease of a group of non-residential premises in Dnipro: the price increased more than 28 times

On January 25, 2021, an auction for the lease of a group of non-residential premises of 1,302.3 sq. m. was held. Facilities are located at the address: 103, Haharina Av., Dnipro city, and are on the balance sheet of the Dnepropetrovsk branch of the Broadcasting, Radiocommunications and Television Concern.

At the open auction  two participants competed for the right to rent the object and increased the lease price by more than 28 times - from the starting UAH 1 802.49 to UAH 50,000.

This increase in price is associated, in particular, with algorithms for online auctions. They motivate bidders to make high initial bids, which determine the outcome of the bidding.

According to the Procedure for Leasing State and Communal Property, the winner of the auction has 3 working days to sign the protocol and 20 working days to conclude a lease agreement from the day following the day the protocol on the results of the auction is drawn up.

The lease agreement with the winner of the auction will be concluded if he pays the following payments within the specified period:

• advance payment in the amount of rent for 2 months (including VAT);

• security deposit in the amount of 2 months rent (excluding VAT).
