The government transferred almost 200 enterprises to the State Property Fund for further privatization

On August 12, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting adopted Resolution "On the Transfer of State Property to the Sphere of Management of the State Property Fund".

This decision of the Government was adopted to implement the Program of Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and will allow for the privatization of facilities that were previously under the management of authorized bodies.

Privatization of these unprofitable assets for the state at transparent auctions will attract investment in Ukraine's economy and create new employment opportunities

As previously reported, at the end of 2019, 530 state-owned enterprises were transferred to the management of the State Property Fund of Ukraine for further privatization. The State Property Fund exceeded the annual plan of privatization proceeds in June 2020, after which the Head of the Fund Dmytro Sennichenko addressed to the Government and the Verkhovna Rada with a proposal to increase the plan fivefold.
