The Government has settle issue of the property inventory accounting of state companies that are being privatized

On July 29, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a Decree “On Amendments to the Regulations on Property Inventory Accounting of State Companies that are being Privatized (Corporatized) and Property of State Companies and Organizations that Transferring to Rent (Returned after Expiration of Rent Contract or its Termination)”. This regulation was adopted by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 2, 1993 No.158.

From now on, the functions of the inventory commission, which is formed to property inventory accounting of the state companies that are being privatized, include the identification of property that is not subject to privatization in accordance with the law.

The Decree also assigns responsibility for the identification results of such property to the head and members of the inventory commission.

The taken decision will increase the transparency and openness of information on privatization objects for potential investors, who will have comprehensive data on the status of all property at privatization objects.
