Sale Contest of the State Stake of PJSC Centrenergo did not come off

Sale Contest of the State Stake of PJSC Centrenergo did not come off. This was announced by Vitalii Trubarov, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, on his Facebook page.

He noted, “Participants of the contest – Ukrdoninvest LLC and Production Unitary Enterprise “Naftobitumnyi Zavod” – were not allowed to participate in the competition becausethe submitted documentation does not meet the requirements of the legislation, in particular, clause 5.7.14 of the Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting Contests for the Sale of Shares in Joint-Stock Companies for the Provision of Information and Copies of Documents Relating to Potential Buyers. Besides, no copies of documents were submitted to confirm the receipt of funds for an amount not less than the initial selling price of the object. In addition, according to information provided by law enforcement agencies, the ultimate beneficiary of one of the applicants is a person who is also the founder and controller of companies registered in the territory of Russian Federation, about which the participant did not notify in the contest documentation, as required by clause 5.7.14 of the Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting Contests for the Sale of Shares in Joint-Stock Companies for the Provision of Information and Copies of Documents Relating to Potential Buyers”.
