The Fund's team held a working meeting with the First Secretary for Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Great Britain in Ukraine, Dominic Neil. The parties discussed strengthening cooperation on investment opportunities and further support of business projects.
"Any improvement in the Fund's work today is essential. Effective management of state assets will allow us to attract additional resources for the development of the country. Systematization of the work of state-owned enterprises will make them more efficient and transparent, and their privatization will provide additional revenues to the budget," noted the Chairman of the SPFU Vitaliy Koval.
At the meeting, the Chairman presented the strategic directions of the Fund's activities and promising investment projects. Participants exchanged opinions on optimal ways of cooperation regarding:
• strengthening of the institutional capacity of the SPFU;
• development of effective communication strategies to support the main areas of the Fund's work;
• development of new joint projects.
The parties also discussed attracting investments to Ukraine. The State Property Fund offers British business new promising privatization objects, such as Hotel Ukraine, JSC United Mining and Chemical Company, LLC Aeroc and others.
Partnership with the Great Britain is one of the priorities for Ukraine. Therefore, the Fund continues to strengthen its partnership with their Embassy.
