SPFU team meets with peoples deputies to discuss ways to find real estate for internally displaced persons and the agencys work
The team of the State Property Fund, headed by Vitaliy Koval, held a working meeting with people's deputies who are members of the temporary special commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the protection of property and non-property rights of internally displaced persons affected by the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. The key topic of the meeting was coordination of efforts to find opportunities to helpinternally displaced persons with housing.
The Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine presented the work of the agency and the objects under its management. They also discussed specific opportunities that could speed up the search for housing forinternally displaced persons .
The SPFU team analyzed state-owned facilities that could be used to create a shelter forinternally displaced persons . The list of these objects has already been sent to state administrations and central executive bodies that own such buildings.
Vitaliy Koval also instructed regional offices of the SPFU to nominate representatives to join working groups involving the Regional military administrations and other executive authorities. The purpose of the work is to inspect places where internally displaced persons could live, including dormitories.
First Deputy Chairman Denys Shuhaliy presented individual cases of real estate that could be used for the needs ofinternally displaced persons and shared successful projects for the implementation of such premises. In particular, the SPFU has already leased a number of state-owned dormitories and other facilities to accommodateinternally displaced persons on special terms. In total, it is almost 50 thousand square meters.
"Today, it is important to unite the efforts of all authorities to find the fastest and most effective solutions, including those to supportinternally displaced persons . The SPFU, for its part, is making efforts to implement preferential real estate lease. We are working together to create joint roadmaps," said Mr. Dybushkin.
The SPFU is involved in the implementation of the operational action plan for the implementation of the State Policy Strategy on Internal Displacement in 2023-2025.
At the end of the meeting, the parties also discussed the support of draft laws from the SPFU that will facilitate investment activity in the country. The joint work to implement concrete solutions forinternally displaced persons to find housing continues.
