The auction for privatization of the Property Complex of the SOE «Hannopil distillery» has been announced, the auction is scheduled for March 5

On March 5, an online auction for the privatization of the Property Complex of the SOE «Hannopil distillery»is scheduled. The starting price is UAH 3.82 million, and registration for the auction will last until March 4, 20:00.

Since 2011, the company has been out of business, and its main activity according to the Charter is the production of other basic organic chemicals.  Despite the fact that the company is out of operation, most of the buildings are suitable for restoring and establishing production.

The Property Complex of the SOE includes 60 units of real estate and infrastructure. The total area of all the properties is 10,208.2 m². The real estate includes the main building, administrative building, water treatment plant, stables, workshops, warehouses, alcohol storage facilities and artesian wells. The Property Complex of the SOE also includes production equipment.

The total area of the two land plots on which the asset is located is 16.1 hectares. All of them are located in Khmelnytsky region.

In addition to real estate, equipment, and land plots, an additional advantage is the location. The company is located near the Zharykha River, so spring water is an additional asset. It was the basis for the production of soda and Extra and Lux spirits. In particular, the company is located 35 km from the international highway E40, which can be a significant advantage for the relocation of businesses from the occupied territories ("brownfields"). It would be a good fit for the development of the food industry or processing of agricultural products. In addition, the local community is interested in developing "old" industrial zones suitable for investment.

As of September 1, 2023, the total accounts payable of the enterprise (including overdue ones) amounted to UAH 16,834.8 thousand. The Property Complex of the SOE «Hannopil distillery»is not leased.

In particular, the company's balance sheet includes the following objects that are not subject to privatization:

·         three apartments in the village of Hannopil

·         a well building

·        artificial well №5.

Among the conditions for the sale of the object:

·        repayment of wage and budget arrears within 6 months; 

·        no dismissal of the company's employees at the initiative of the new owner or its authorized body within 6 months from the date of transfer of ownership.

For reference. The company was founded in 1891, and in the 1980s, Hannopil Distillery was among the leaders of related plants in Ukraine. At that time, the company produced up to 20 thousand liters of high-purity distillery per day. Instead, the plant purchased raw materials in huge quantities from local agricultural producers. At the turn of the 2000s, the company started producing soda. Several branded stores were opened and their products were in demand. Subsequently, due to a change in management and a decrease in demand for the products, the plant lost its capacity.
