SPFU team held a meeting with representatives of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
The Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine and his Deputies held a meeting with USAID representatives to discuss the possibility of implementing joint projects.
The Chairman of the SPFU emphasized the main areas of work in 2024, including privatization, lease, asset management, Land Bank and Sanctioned Assets. He also presented the objects for privatization and handed over the investment menu for further review.
"We see the work of the SPFU not only as selling or leasing square meters, but also as attracting investments. After all, every hryvnia works to support the Defense Forces," Vitaliy Koval emphasized.
The SPFU is facing new challenges that can be solved through joint work with USAID in the areas of institutional development, improvement of IT systems, search for potential partners and training programs for employees.
"The sooner our institution becomes self-sufficient, the more we can give to the country for a faster Victory. We understand that international support is important and necessary, but today is the time of internal reserve and we need to launch processes within the country to develop the economy. Therefore, with your help, we want to gain institutional capacity," said Vitaliy Koval.
Also, First Deputy Chairman of the Fund Denys Shuhaliy emphasized the importance of updating the IT sector with the help of USAID experience.
In addition, the meeting discussed the improvement of legislative acts that need to be changed. In particular, improving the processes of privatization and lease of state property and liquidation of enterprises.
At the end of the meeting, the partners agreed to cooperate, develop reforms and support initiatives.
