An abandoned unfinished polyclinic turned into a residential complex
In 2014, a local long-term construction project found a new owner at an auction in Chervonohrad, Lviv region. The facility, which had been idle for years, was purchased by Universal Engineering.
Over the course of several years, it invested another UAH 85.9 million in the reconstruction, and a residential building with almost 70 families already living there appeared on the map of Chervonohrad.
Today, it is an area with modern shops, private business facilities, underground parking and developed infrastructure.
The history of the facility is a vivid confirmation of the success of privatization, when a state "liability" turns into an "asset" and has a tangible effect on the development of the territory.
The new owner also transferred three one-room apartments to the local authorities for the families of our defenders.
