The cost of the State Enterprise "Dnipro" during the online auction increased almost sixfold

During the transparent competition, the final value of the lot increased by 5,8 times, from the initial 7,26 million hryvnias to the winning bid of 42 million 113 thousand hryvnias.

"The 5,8-fold increase in the value of the lot is a clear confirmation of the interest and financial capability of Ukrainian businesses to invest in the domestic economy. In 2024, we plan to announce equally interesting privatization auctions, with a variety of objects suitable for various businesses," emphasized Vitaliy Koval, the Chairman of the State Property Fund.

Starting from 2022, the State Enterprise "Dnipro" ceased its publishing activities and accumulated debts. According to the privatization conditions, the new owner is obligated to pay off the debts for wages and to the budget within 6 months from the date of ownership rights registration. Additionally, the State Enterprise has accumulated debts to legal entities in the amount of over 2 million hryvnias. These debts need to be repaid only if creditors demand it, as it is not a privatization requirement of the State Property Fund.

Simultaneously, within a month, the new owner must conclude a contract for the protection of the cultural heritage site with the Department of Culture of Kyiv City State Administration, as the building is a monument of local historical significance.
