At the initiative of the SPFU, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed privatization in the areas close to the hostilities
At the initiative of the State Property Fund, the Ministry of Reintegration has developed a draft resolution that introduces amendments to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 952 and No. 1364. The decision provides for the resumption of privatization in the areas where hostilities are no longer taking place. Today, more than 300 small-scale privatization objects are located in such areas. Thus, the resolution settles the issue of privatization of objects in Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
"We thank our colleagues from the Ministry of Reintegration and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for supporting the initiatives of the State Property Fund. Today it is important to consolidate efforts and work for results. It is necessary to attract private investment in the areas close to the hostilities as soon as possible. This will be an impetus for their recovery and development," said Vitaliy Koval, Chairman of the Fund.
In addition to the investment revival in the regions, the resumption of privatization will allow attracting additional funds to the state budget to support the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
This decision also completely prohibits the privatization of facilities located in the territories of military operations or temporarily occupied by the russian federation. The restrictions will last for the duration of martial law and for three months from the date of its termination or cancellation.
