"The State Property Fund is the largest lessor in Ukraine," said Denys Shuhalii, the First Deputy Chairman of the SPFU, during a meeting with the American Chamber of Commerce (ACC).
The SPFU is interested in ensuring that businesses actively participate in auctions for leasing state property. Denys Shuhalii emphasized this on November 9 during a meeting-presentation on the lease of state assets with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC).
"The SPFU is the largest lessor in Ukraine. We welcome active business participation in our auctions," stated Denys Shuhalii. "Leasing state assets allows entrepreneurs to access new locations for business development, contributing to economic growth, the creation of new jobs, and increased revenue for the state budget."
On average, the rental cost of each asset in lease auctions increases by 3.4 times. Since the beginning of 2023, the state budget has received over UAH 630 million from leasing state assets. Additionally, the Fund has concluded over 1,450 new lease contracts, including nearly 850 agreements with businesses.
In total, the Fund leases out 8.1 million m2 of state assets, of which 5.8 million m2 are leased to entrepreneurs. The SPFU oversees almost 14.3 thousand lease agreements, including over 10 thousand contracts with businesses.
